Extreme electrical stress environments represented by high altitude, strong electric field, frequent discharge, high temperature and high humidity pose severe challenges to the safety and stability of high-voltage electrical equipment insulation. In these harsh working conditions, traditional insulation sleeves are prone to insulation aging, dielectric breakdown, arc ablation and partial discharge failure, which seriously threaten the safe operation of power equipment. High-altitude power systems are typical extreme electrical stress environments. PTFE high voltage insulation sleeves produced by professional processes have uniform wall thickness, compact internal structure and strong mechanical toughness. They can resist repeated electric field impact and mechanical vibration, avoid insulation cracking and performance fatigue failure. Long-term high humidity environment easily causes traditional insulation materials to absorb moisture, resulting in decreased insulation resistance and increased leakage current. High-temperature working conditions will accelerate the thermal aging of insulation materials and shorten the service life. PTFE insulation sleeves have super hydrophobic performance, zero water absorption, completely isolating the influence of humid air on insulation performance. At the same time, they can work stably at 260°C for a long time, without thermal deformation, melting or aging failure, and can effectively resist the coupling damage of high temperature and electrical stress. In addition, PTFE materials have excellent chemical corrosion resistance, which can resist the erosion of industrial waste gas, oil stains and corrosive media in extreme industrial environments, ensuring the long-term stable operation of insulation sleeves.
