Cleanroom chemical delivery systems are the blood circulation system of semiconductor manufacturing, responsible for the stable and pollution-free transmission of ultra-pure water, high-purity corrosive chemicals, and special process gases. Semiconductor-grade PTFE tubing is manufactured through ultra-clean extrusion and precision molding processes, using 100% high-purity virgin PTFE resin without any additives and fillers. The inner wall of the tube is ultra-smooth and non-porous, with no residual dead corners and micro-pores, completely avoiding the adhesion and accumulation of chemical residues and micro-particles. Unlike ordinary industrial PTFE tubes that have surface pits and uneven density, semiconductor-grade tubing undergoes multi-stage precision polishing and density homogenization treatment, ensuring zero particle shedding during long-term fluid scouring, fully complying with Class 1 and Class 2 cleanroom ultra-clean transmission standards.
The extreme chemical inertness of semiconductor-grade PTFE tubing enables it to adapt to the full-spectrum corrosive media transmission in semiconductor cleanrooms. It can stably transmit strong acids, strong alkalis, oxidizing agents, and organic solvents commonly used in semiconductor processes, without chemical reaction, dissolution, or aging degradation. Even in long-term cyclic transmission of high-concentration hydrofluoric acid and high-temperature hydrogen peroxide cleaning solutions, the pipeline structure and performance remain stable, effectively preventing pipeline corrosion and medium pollution. Matched with high-precision PTFE SHEET sealing gaskets and lining accessories, it builds a fully enclosed pollution-free chemical delivery system.
In addition to ultra-clean and corrosion-resistant performance, semiconductor-grade PTFE tubing has excellent temperature resistance and pressure resistance, adapting to the variable working conditions of cleanroom processes. It can work stably in the temperature range of -196°C to 260°C, meeting the transmission requirements of low-temperature cryogenic process fluids and high-temperature heating chemicals. The pipeline has uniform wall thickness and strong pressure resistance, which can withstand the stable fluid pressure of semiconductor precision transmission systems, avoiding pipeline deformation, leakage, and medium fluctuation. Its low friction coefficient reduces fluid transmission resistance, ensures stable flow rate of process media, and improves the consistency of semiconductor process parameters.
At present, semiconductor-grade PTFE tubing has been fully popularized in wafer fabrication, chip packaging, and semiconductor device testing cleanrooms.
