High vacuum environment is the basic operating condition of spacecraft, satellites and high-altitude aerospace equipment. In vacuum environment, ordinary polymer materials are prone to outgassing phenomenon, releasing volatile organic compounds, tiny molecular sediments and gaseous impurities. These outgassing substances will adhere to precision optical lenses, sensor probes, electronic circuit boards and instrument surfaces, resulting in optical pollution, sensor failure, circuit short circuit and instrument precision attenuation, seriously threatening the normal operation of precision aerospace equipment. Aerospace-grade low-outgassing PTFE is developed specially for aerospace vacuum environment, with ultra-low volatile content, becoming the standard material for vacuum aerospace equipment PTFE SHEET.
Ordinary industrial PTFE materials contain residual monomers, low-molecular-weight substances and processing additives, which will continuously volatilize in vacuum environment and cause outgassing pollution. Aerospace-grade low-outgassing PTFE adopts special high-temperature sintering and vacuum degassing process to completely remove internal low-molecular impurities and volatile components. After strict NASA SP-8007 aerospace material standard testing, the total mass loss (TML) and collected volatile condensable materials (CVCM) of the material are far lower than the aerospace industry threshold, meeting the ultra-high cleanliness requirements of space vacuum environment.
Low-outgassing performance will not attenuate with long-term vacuum operation. Aerospace-grade PTFE has highly stable fluorocarbon molecular structure, no residual active molecules, and will not produce new volatile substances under long-term vacuum, high temperature and cosmic ray irradiation. It can maintain ultra-clean material state for a long time, avoid pollution of precision aerospace devices, and ensure the long-term stable operation of satellite optical systems, deep space detection sensors and aerospace precision electronic equipment. This stable low-outgassing performance is incomparable to other engineering polymer materials PTFE TUBE.

It can adapt to vacuum extreme temperature alternation, cosmic ray radiation and aerospace medium corrosion, without structural failure and performance degradation.
