With the rapid development of urban power grid construction and modular power equipment technology, compact and miniaturized substations have gradually become the mainstream of modern power distribution systems. Different from traditional large-scale substations, compact substation components have the characteristics of small installation space, dense equipment layout, concentrated electric field and severe internal heat accumulation. This puts forward higher requirements for insulation materials: not only need high dielectric strength and arc resistance, but also need thin thickness, light weight, small occupied space and excellent heat resistance. Advanced PTFE high voltage insulation materials perfectly fit the design and operation requirements of compact substation components, solving the insulation bottleneck of miniaturized power equipment PTFE SHEET.
The core advantage of advanced PTFE insulation applied to compact substations is high insulation efficiency in a thin state. Advanced PTFE insulation has excellent high-temperature dielectric stability, and its insulation performance will not decline under long-term high-temperature operation, avoiding insulation failure caused by thermal aging. Its excellent arc resistance can resist partial discharge and arc impact caused by electric field concentration, prevent flashover and short-circuit faults of compact substation components, and improve the operational stability of miniaturized equipment PTFE TUBE.
Advanced customized PTFE insulation components for compact substations include PTFE insulation gaskets, PTFE positioning sleeves, PTFE isolation sheets and special-shaped insulation parts. These products are precisely processed according to the structural characteristics of compact substation components, with high fitting accuracy and no assembly gap, which can effectively isolate high-voltage charged parts and avoid electric field leakage. PTFE materials have excellent weather resistance and anti-pollution performance, resisting dust, moisture and industrial corrosive gas erosion in the substation operating environment, and maintaining long-term stable insulation performance without regular maintenance. In addition, PTFE has good mechanical processing performance, which can be customized into various complex shapes to adapt to the diversified structural design of compact modular substations.
Engineering application data shows that compact substations using advanced PTFE high voltage insulation components have a 50% reduction in insulation space occupation compared with traditional insulation schemes, and the equipment operation failure rate is reduced by more than 45%.
