PTFE Extruded Rod for High-Temperature Sealing Solutions

Industrial high-temperature pipeline connection, thermal power equipment sealing, high-temperature reaction kettle flange connection and high-temperature furnace equipment gap sealing are in long-term high-temperature working environments. Traditional sealing materials such as rubber, asbestos and ordinary plastic sealing parts are prone to thermal aging, softening deformation, carbonization failure and elastic attenuation at high temperature, resulting in medium leakage, equipment air leakage and sealing system failure. PTFE extruded rods are specially developed for high-temperature sealing scenarios, with excellent high-temperature resistance and stable sealing performance, becoming the core material of long-life high-temperature sealing solutions PTFE SHEET.

PTFE extruded rods have ultra-wide high-temperature resistance advantages that traditional sealing materials cannot match. The material can work stably at a continuous high temperature of 260°C for a long time, and can withstand instantaneous high temperature impact above 300°C, without thermal deformation, melting, carbonization and aging cracking. Different from rubber sealing parts that will lose elasticity at high temperature and asbestos products that are easy to powder and fail, PTFE extruded rods maintain stable structural rigidity and compression resilience in high-temperature environments. The compact internal structure formed by continuous extrusion ensures that the material will not produce creep deformation and gap expansion under long-term high-temperature and high-pressure superposition, realizing long-term zero-leakage sealing effect.

In high-temperature sealing working conditions, the comprehensive performance advantages of PTFE extruded rods are fully highlighted. While resisting high-temperature aging, the material has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, which can resist the erosion of high-temperature steam, high-temperature oil gas, corrosive flue gas and high-temperature chemical medium in high-temperature equipment. It will not react and deteriorate with high-temperature media, ensuring the long-term stability of the sealing structure. At the same time, the ultra-low friction coefficient of PTFE enables the sealing rod to have good adaptive fit performance, which can adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction of high-temperature equipment, automatically fill tiny gaps, and avoid sealing failure caused by equipment thermal deformation.

In practical high-temperature sealing engineering, PTFE extruded rods can be processed into various specifications of high-temperature sealing gaskets, strip seals and special-shaped sealing parts, and used in combination with PTFE TUBE high-temperature sealing sleeves to form a complete high-temperature sealing system. They are widely used in thermal power plant high-temperature flue pipe sealing, chemical high-temperature reaction kettle flange sealing, industrial furnace equipment gap sealing, high-temperature steam pipeline interface sealing and mechanical high-temperature operating parts sealing. Compared with traditional high-temperature sealing materials, PTFE sealing parts have a service life more than 8 times longer, and greatly reduce the frequency of equipment shutdown and sealing replacement.
