PTFE Coated Fabric Membrane for Tensile Architectural Structures

Modern tensile architectural structures represented by stadium canopies, landscape membrane structures, airport waiting halls, exhibition center roofs, and outdoor public facility awnings require membrane materials with high tensile performance, long-term weather resistance, self-cleaning ability, and structural stability. Traditional PVC membrane materials and ordinary coated fabrics are prone to aging, yellowing, deformation, and dirt accumulation after several years of outdoor exposure, resulting in reduced structural safety and poor aesthetic effect. The material has excellent ultraviolet resistance and anti-aging performance, resisting long-term sunlight radiation, wind and rain erosion, and temperature alternating changes. It will not yellow, brittle, crack or deform after decades of outdoor operation, maintaining stable structural performance and beautiful appearance.

With the support of high-performance PTFE TUBE and supporting PTFE building functional materials, PTFE coated fabric membrane has excellent light transmittance and thermal insulation performance. The uniform coating structure can soften natural light, avoid glare, and improve indoor lighting comfort. At the same time, it has good thermal radiation reflection ability, reducing indoor heat accumulation and achieving energy-saving and heat-insulating effects. In terms of structural safety, the material has excellent flame retardancy and fire resistance, which can effectively inhibit flame spread and meet the fire protection standards of large public buildings.

Compared with traditional architectural membrane materials, PTFE coated fabric membrane has a service life of more than 30 years, far exceeding PVC and ordinary coated membranes.
