5G communication infrastructure represented by macro base stations, micro base stations, remote radio units (RRU), active antenna units (AAU) and microwave backhaul equipment operates in high-frequency microwave and sub-6G frequency bands, putting forward ultra-high requirements for signal transmission speed, stability and anti-interference ability of circuit boards. 5G base station equipment runs outdoors for a long time, enduring high-temperature exposure, low-temperature freezing, humid rain and snow erosion and long-term power load operation, which requires circuit boards to have excellent environmental stability and aging resistance. PTFE-based microwave boards have outstanding weather resistance and thermal stability, with no performance degradation after long-term outdoor aging. Their low thermal expansion coefficient ensures that the circuit board structure and electrical parameters remain stable during temperature cycling, preventing signal frequency offset and equipment performance fluctuation caused by thermal deformation. In the assembly and fixing of 5G microwave equipment, high-stability PTFE TUBE insulating accessories are used for circuit isolation and structural protection, reducing electromagnetic interference between internal modules of base stations and improving the overall anti-interference ability of 5G equipment.
In the construction of 5G ultra-dense networking and microwave backhaul systems, PTFE microwave circuit boards solve many bottleneck problems of traditional high-frequency materials. They support high-precision multi-layer circuit design and ultra-fine line processing, meeting the miniaturization and high integration requirements of modern 5G base station equipment. Compared with other high-frequency substrates such as modified epoxy and ceramic composite materials, PTFE microwave boards have lower comprehensive loss and longer service life, reducing the maintenance cost of 5G infrastructure.
