Automotive millimeter-wave radar sensors are the core perception components of intelligent driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including forward collision avoidance radar, side blind spot radar, rear parking radar and high-precision imaging radar. Automotive radar works in high-frequency 24GHz and 77GHz frequency bands, and needs to adapt to complex vehicle operating environments such as engine compartment high temperature, body vibration, rain and snow humidity, and road dust pollution. At the same time, PTFE materials have super hydrophobicity and chemical corrosion resistance, resisting the erosion of rainwater, snow, automobile oil and dust, preventing circuit board moisture and corrosion failure. In radar sensor assembly, waterproof and anti-interference PTFE TUBE insulating accessories effectively protect high-frequency circuits and improve the environmental adaptability of automotive radar.
With the upgrading of intelligent driving technology, automotive radar is developing towards high-precision imaging, multi-target detection and long-distance monitoring, which puts forward higher requirements for PCB high-frequency performance and consistency.
