In industrial production processes, equipment often needs to be in contact with strong acid, strong alkali, organic solvent, corrosive salt solution and toxic and harmful chemical media for a long time. Chemical resistant PTFE materials have unparalleled full-range chemical resistance, and can resist almost all known chemical corrosive media in industrial production. Whether it is strong corrosive inorganic acids such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, strong alkalis such as sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, or organic solvents such as benzene, ketone, ester and alcohol, PTFE materials will not produce any chemical reaction, dissolution or corrosion damage. The excellent chemical resistance of PTFE comes from its unique saturated fluorocarbon molecular structure. The carbon-fluorine bond has ultra-high bond energy and strong chemical stability, and there are no active groups or unsaturated bonds in the PTFE molecular chain that are prone to chemical reaction.
